How to set up slide show?
1. Select [My Picture] then press [OK] key.
2. Press [ >] key (The
file menu will be displayed.)
3. Select a file or folder that you want to show.
4. Press OK/Play key to play the file.
*The
auto playback interval time is defaulted to 3 seconds. (You can change
it to 5, 10, 30 or 60 seconds.)

How to view in large TV?
Connect the PAVIO to a TV by AV cable (supplied with the PAVIO), then
you can play PAVIO and display recorded files on the TV.
1. Check that PAVIO and TV are turned off.
2. Connect the AV cable to the AV Out terminal in the PAVIO.
3. Connect the other end of the AV cable to the AV In terminal on the
TV.
Note:
The LCD will be off connect the AV cable to the PAVIO.
Make sure that the PAVIO is turned off if connect the AC Adaptor to
the PAVIO playing file on PC.
Can I move the recorded TV programs to my computer, DVD media or VHS tape?
Yes, You can move the files to your computer for storage. (Use the USB cord provided to connect Pavio to your computer. ) You can use the AV cord to connect to your DVD or VHS and play them, or to record them on your DVD media or VHS tapes.
Same process, you can play DVD or VHS on Pavio and record to Pavio. ( Depending on the file format (Hi, Med, Lo resolution) , Pavio can hold from 12 hours to 72 hours.)
You can also put your family movies and digital images in Pavio and put it up in the projector.

How to put my DVD's into the Pavio?
Connect your DVD player via AV cord to the docking station, run your DVD on Pavio and press Record button on the dock. It is one on one and safe to do. If you pick high resolution, it will take more space. You can also use the Pavio Movie to output on your TV. If you pick low resolution, it will take many movies. It is good enough for viewing in Pavio.

How to get a Powerpoint to display on the Pavio?
There are 2 ways to get a Powerpoint to display on the PAVIO-- Converting the Powerpoint to JPGs, or converting it as a video.
Option 1: Converting the Powerpoint presetation to JPGs.
1) Convert the Powerpoint presentation to JPGs (In Powerpoint File - File -> Save As)
Change the Save as type to JPEG File Interchange Format (*.jpg) - Shown above.
2) Copy the images to a directory on the PAVIO.
Disconnect Pavio from your computer. (Be sure to remove the hardware safely.)
Turn on the Pavio. Here is how to set slide show on Pavio:
1) Select "My Picture" then pres OK.
2) Press right arrow ( >) once. Use up and down arrow to select the folder where you store the just converted images. Then press OK.
3) Press OK again. Then press Play button (II/>).
4) Select auto playback time with up and down arrows. Then press OK.
The slide show will then be playing on the Pavio automatically.
Options 2: Converting the Powerpoint presentation to PAVIO as a video.
1) To convert a powerpoint presentation to a video on the PAVIO you will need to have a computer that has SVIDEO or A/V out (this is present on many laptops).
2) Connect the SVIDEO or A/V out to the A/V in of PAVIO, also connect the audio out or the headphone jack from the computer to the A/V in of the PAVIO.
3) Select TV mode on the screen of Pavio- press OK. Under TV mode menu, select Video input and press OK. Under Video input mode, select AV in or S video - pess OK.
4) You should see the computers screen on your PAVIO, if you don't please look at the documentation for you video card or look at your video card settings.
On windows machines this can be found at Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> Advanced. On some video cards you need to run the SVideo/A/V out option on here.
5) After you see the computer screen on the PAVIO, load the Powerpoint presentation.
6) Start the Powerpoint presentation on the computer and press record on the PAVIO cradle, this will begin recording your presentation on to PAVIO.
7) After the presetation is over press stop on the PAVIO.
8) Now you will have a video of your Powerpoint presentation on the PAVIO, it will include the sound also. (If the presetation had sound and the audio cable were connect to PAVIO properly).
9) This techinque can be used to record anything from the computer to the PAVIO for presentation purposes. (For example you describe how some website works, just go to the website on the computer and press record on the PAVIO).

When in the middle of a movie , can I set it at Pause and Resume later ?
Yes, while playing the movie on Pavio, you can pause it by pressing PAUSE button.
To resume the movie, simply press "PLAY" button.
